Contractor All Risks (CAR)

Contractor All Risks (CAR):   This policy covers basically “All Risks” of loss or damage to:

• Contract works and temporary works on the site.
• Temporary buildings on site or used in conjunction with the contract.
• Construction plants, tools and equipment
• Employees’ personal effects and tools during the period of contract.
• Third Party liabilities.

However, it must be noted that cover applies during the construction period and could be extended to including specified maintenance period.

It can be effected for the period of the contract or for a year which would be on yearly declaration basis until the expiration of the contract period.

• Erection All Risk Insurance
